Catamarans are becoming increasingly popular amongst yachties. They are stable platforms for cruising, living aboard and having fun with a family or group of friends.

Until a few years ago, catamarans had the image of being slow upwind and being "comfort containers". Well that has changed since we have seen what foiling catamarans are capable of in the America's Cup!
Still comfortable, modern cats have benefitted of the innovation in racing. Upwind angles now being close to monohulls, and speed on a par, or more! At the same time, sailing upright still is a big bonus for families and friends!

Power cats benefit from better hull form, and thus lower fuel consumption. Also here, the enormous deck space a catamaran provides is very attractive.
